In Politics: President Trump deletes tweet after referring to Somalia as ‘Somolia’

The New York Times provided details regarding Friday, June 8, 2018, that an American warrior was killed while four others were injured in a fight in Somalia when President Trump took to his Twitter handle to send sympathies to the groups of the injured and expired servicemen.

After New York Times detailed the story, a British writer, and host of Al Jazeera English, Mehdi Hasan had questioned if nationals of America had any piece of information of the nation’s troop battling in Somalia nor the American President knew where Somalia was on the world map.

President Trump expressed: “My contemplations and supplications are with the groups of our serviceman who was murdered and his kindred servicemen who were injured in Somolia. They are really all HEROES.”

In a quick response, Hasan went after Trump, taking note of that his prior tweet about the American President not knowing where Somalia is on the planet had been affirmed.

“Keep in mind what I was saying before in regards to the president being not able discover ‘Somolia’ on a guide? It’s no joke,” Hasan tweeted citing Trump’s tweet.

In what is by all accounts an irregularity, President Trump – who barely erases his tweets – erased the tweet on Somalia in the early long periods of Saturday, June 9, 2018.

He re-composed his message to the killed serviceman and other injured servicemen in Somalia with the right spelling of the African nation.

“My musings and petitions are with the groups of our serviceman who was murdered and his kindred servicemen who were injured in Somalia. They are genuinely all HEROES,” Trump tweeted at around 5:00 AM.
